NBA Summer League dates & teams announced
The 2007 NBA Summer League will be held from July 6-15, 2007 at the Cox Pavilion and Thomas & Mack Center on the Campus of UNLV. Teams participating in this summer's league include:
 Finished third all-time at UNC for career three-point field goal percentage (.419)…finished second on the team with 45 three-pointers made and 24 blocked shots, and third in rebounding (5.4 rpg) his senior season…grabbed seven or more rebounds 15 times…named All-ACC Third Team his junior season, scoring in double figures 24 times.
 Lewis hit the biggest shot of the season for the Buckeyes, nailing a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left against Xavier to tie the game and eventually help Ohio State advance all the way to the Championship game. more »
  Known for his intensity and emotion on the court, Noah became one of the most recognizable players in college basketball in his three years at Florida – especially gaining recognition during the Gators’ championship runs over the last two seasons. more »
 Corey Brewer, a First Team All-SEC selection, averaged 13.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 28.7 minutes while coming up with a team-high 69 steals in 37 starts as the Gators took home their second straight NCAA title. more »
 Al Horford, a 6-10, 245 forward/center from Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, could be picked first of the four Gators who declared eligibility for the 2007 NBA Draft. Along with Joakim Noah, Corey Brewer and Taurean Green, Horford decided to forego his senior season and declared for the draft following Florida’s second consecutive NCAA Championship run. more »
 Durant, the first freshman to be named the consensus National Player of the Year in NCAA history, will be one of the top two picks (along with Greg Oden) of the 2007 NBA Draft. Durant did it all in his one season with the Longhorns, leading the Big 12 in points (25.8 ppg), rebounds (11.1 rpg) and blocked shots (67 total). He was the only player to rank in the top 10 in the nation in scoring (fourth) and rebounding (fourth). more »

 The NBA Summer League enters its fourth summer in Las Vegas, July 6-15. Over the last three summers, many of the NBA’s top young players have participated in the league. The league started in 2004 with six teams and that number jumped to 16 in both 2005 and 2006. It has become the premier summer league and the talent level proves it.

 As the 2007 NBA Summer League approaches, fans anticipate the future stars that will participate in the summer league.  When rookies forward Renaldo Balkman (6-8, 208-pounds) and guard Mardy Collins (6-6, 198-pounds) were introduced as the newest members of the New York Knicks last June, fans and members of the media held their breath, not quite sure if president of basketball operations and head coach Isiah Thomas knew what he was doing with his draft picks or his team’s future. more »
 Leandro Barbosa of the Phoenix Suns and Monta Ellis of the Golden State Warriors, two 2005 summer league standouts in Las Vegas, have quickly become two of the games quickest and most lethal scorers at the guard position. Both players have been key pieces in helping to lead their teams to the post-season, with each collecting some hardware along the way. more »
